For Hermes Agent users
Watch your agent colony work.
A Hermes desktop plugin that shows every subagent's status, files, and feed in one docked pane. No more guessing which worker is still running, which one finished, and which one needs a nudge.
Coming soon
A live roster, not a dashboard.
Every subagent gets a codename and a row. You see what it's working on, how long it's been running, and whether it came home with results or hit a wall. Click any agent to inspect its files, read its feed, or steer it with a new instruction.
It runs as a docked pane in the Hermes desktop app. No extra accounts, no web dashboard to check. It's right there beside your conversation.
Where it stands.
Ant Farm is built and working inside our own agent fleet. The plugin is pending submission to the Hermes Plugin Catalog — when it clears review, you'll be able to install it with hermes plugins install subagent-squad.

What it shows.
The roster
- Every running and recently finished subagent in one list
- Codename, status, elapsed time, and goal for each
- Color-coded by state: running, done, failed, paused
The inspect panel
- Click any agent to see its working files and paths
- Read the live feed of events and tool calls
- Steer a worker with a new instruction without leaving the pane
The colony
- 24 codenames assigned deterministically per agent
- One glance tells you the shape of your fleet
- No fabricated progress or latency — honest status only
Honest by design.
Ant Farm never fabricates progress, latency, or dependencies. If an agent is stuck, the roster says so. If a file is empty, the inspect panel says so. The boring truth beats a reassuring lie when you're managing a fleet.
